Ready for the experience of a lifetime?

Ever seen a fire truck fly down the road and wonder what's going on? You can be part of that!

Our volunteers do it all, fires, rescues, medical emergencies, technical rescue, service calls, community events, fundraisers, and more.

No prior training or experience is required-We provide training at no cost to you. Do as much or as little as you can at your own pace, the volunteer model provides flexibility around busy lifestyles. 

Thinking about it? Out ride along program allows interested members to ride with us for a day to see what it's all about.

Property tax incentive: Eligible members will receive reimbursement for a portion (or all) of their property taxes every year.

Aflac Coverage: Members meeting at least 20% participation will receive free Aflac accident and illness coverage. 

EMS Stipend: Get paid to run calls. EMSVO's, EMT's and Paramedics receive a cash stipend for every ambulance call they run, paid at the end of each month. Stipend program also compensates members on call at the station to cover emergency calls. 

Paid EMS Standbys: EMT's, Advanced EMT's, and Paramedics can get paid to cover ambulance standbys at local fairs, races, and community events. Our stipend rates for these events exceed hourly starting rates of local career EMS services. 

Free Training: We will cover the cost of tuition and other course costs for EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Firefighter 1 & 2, A wide variety of rescue training, and so much more. Travel and lodging may also be paid for out of town classes. 

Instructor Opportunities: We are an accredited training facility and PA Department of health Con-ed Sponsor, offering a wide variety of classes including CPR, First Aid, EMR, ACLS, EVOC, and a comprehensive list of EMS Continuing education courses. 

Modern equipment and rapidly growing department: Our members are provided free uniforms and apparel, our EMS units are equipped with Mechanical CPR devices, Stryker PowerLOAD Systems, ELK devices that can lift the heaviest of patients from the floor to seated position with the push of a button, LifePak 15 Cardiac monitors, and AI Enhanced charting makes patient care reports a breeze. Full ALS Services are coming in September 2026 with one of the most comprehensive medication formularies in the region.
